- A refugee ( w:fi:pakolainen ) is a person who is outside their home country because they have suffered (or feared) persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, or political opinion; because they are a member of a persecuted social category of persons; or because they are fleeing a war. Such a person may be called an "asylum seeker" until recognized by the state where they make a claim.[1] ( Wikipedia )
- Pakolainen on yleiskielessä henkilö, joka joutuu syntyperänsä, uskontonsa, mielipiteidensä tms. vuoksi vainoa peläten pakenee vieraaseen maahan.[2]
- Kaikki kotimaastaan paenneet eivät ole pakolaisia. Jotta ihminen määriteltäisiin pakolaiseksi, hänelle on täytynyt myöntää pakolaisen asema eli pakolaisstatus.[3]
- Pakolaisuutta koskee ja sitä määrittelee Geneven pakolaissopimus vuodelta 1951 ja sen pöytäkirja vuodelta 1967.[4]
- Määritelmän mukaan eivät esimerkiksi sota, nälänhätä tai ympäristökatastrofi ole varsinaisesti pakolaiseksi oikeuttavia syitä. Planning the video production
- Jubo-jubo's review of video editing software - My favorites are naturally the FOSS and/or run on GNU/Linux video editors. The only one I have actual hands on experience is w:kdenlive which is readily available for all *NIX flavours ( GNU/Linux, OS X, FreeBSD )
Planning the print production
- w:Inkscape is the leading w:FOSS w:vector drawing program available for all platforms
- w:GIMP ( w:GNU Image manipulation program ) is the program of choice when you need to do image processing
- w:LibreOffice is free-er then w:OpenOffice some say but we all know they both are free-er then Microsoft Office
- Print cost depends on print lot. Painokulut riippuvat painoerästä.
- Full 4-color ( w:CMYK ) booklet or just covers in color ? ( save money )
